Why do I need to provide my SSN?

We ask for the SSN due to anti-money laundering regulations.  We understand your concern regarding the security of your SSN.  

Our platform is not a PCI, which means we're not able to hold or store sensitive information. We don't have access to this information and when you submit it on our platform it's sent directly to our escrow agent. We can only see the last 4 numbers of the number used, but no additional information.

In addition, if you invest on our platform, you will see a lock next to the URL, so you can confirm you are on our secure platform. If you click the lock next to our URL, you will see the security certificates and validation.
