What happens if a campaign reaches its goal early?

For Regulation A+, if a company reaches their investment goal early, they have the option to either oversubscribe their funding goal and continue to take investments, or end the campaign earlier than their original deadline.

For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors will be notified when the target raise amount has been met. If the company hits their target raise amount early, it can choose to create a new deadline at least 5 business days out. Investors will be notified of this new deadline and will still have the opportunity to cancel up to 48 hours before the offering closes.
