Who can trade on StartEngine Secondary?

Currently, only U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older, that have a SSN or ITIN, a U.S. bank account, a U.S. address, and a U.S. phone number are able to trade on StartEngine Secondary.

We do have plans to expand availability and access to the marketplace in the future subject to necessary requirements and any applicable restrictions.

Trading is governed by state blue sky laws, so at this time we are unable to allow international investors to trade due to compliance with regulations. It is our long-term goal to enable all investors to trade - but trading is regulated by the laws of each individual investor’s state of residence. We can only ensure regulatory compliance for US domestic investors at this time, and so the Secondary market is limited in this way.
